Making TECH360 a Welcoming Conference for All

At TECH360, we are committed to creating a wonderful experience for everyone who attends our conference. We’re working hard to make TECH360 an inclusive and welcoming environment that enables all to enjoy the conference in ways that work best for them.

The Wonderful Facility at Penn State Great Valley

We’re so grateful to Penn State Great Valley for hosting TECH360 for the seventh year in row. It’s a great location with beautiful spaces and fantastic people. The school’s commitment to the local tech community shines through its generous support of our conference. Penn State Great Valley shares our commitment to the importance of ensuring that everyone has access and is comfortable in the meeting spaces.

Our Code of Conduct

As the Philly ‘burbs premier innovative business technology conference, TECH360 drafted and shared a new code of conduct. We invite you to read it through and familiarize yourself with it. We are committed to ensuring that our conference is a safe and welcoming place for all.

Accommodating Facilities

Thanks to Penn State Great Valley’s amazing campus, we are delighted to share the following accommodations for TECH360:

  • Free parking for all
  • Reserved handicap parking spaces near the entrance of the Conference Center
  • An elevator for easy access to second floor break-out session classrooms
  • Large accessible bathroom stalls in both the men’s and women’s restrooms
  • A mother’s room for breastfeeding moms
  • An outdoor patio and seating for a breath of fresh air between speaker sessions
  • A quiet room for those need a little break from the hub-bub of the full day conference

A Dedicated Quiet Room

This year, with support from our friends at Penn State Great Valley, we have added a Quiet Room to TECH360. This space is specifically reserved for our attendees who wish to have a moment of quiet during the event, or to take a break from the crowd. Mobiles phones and conversation will be prohibited in this quiet room.

Color Communication Indicators

We are planning to include color communication indicators on our name badges, based on the templates drawn up by the Autistic Self Advocacy Network. We will share further information about these indicators in a subsequent blog post.

Food for All

While we are still working with the event caterer to finalize the breakfast, lunch, and post-conference networking menus, we want to share that we will have vegetarian, vegan, and other food options. If you have special dietary needs, please let us know when you order your tickets. We will post further menu details as they are confirmed.

TECH360 is an important event for everyone in the tech community – we look forward to seeing you there!
